A worker died yesterday in a quarry in the town of Arcos de la Frontera after a traffic accident while conducting maintenance work on an excavator.
The incident occurred at 09:20 on 112 when the Board received a call from a private warning that there had been an accident at a quarry located at Km 16 A-382 highway in the municipality of Arcos.
The deceased worker’s Francisco Perez Hernandez, 49 years old and a resident of Paterna de Rivera, who was conducting maintenance greasing a bulldozer when a piece jumped and hit his chest.
