Municipal swimming pool in Puerto de la Torre
The Town Planning office in the city of Málaga, Manuel Diaz, appeared Friday as a defendant in the case known as ‘swimming’ in a court investigating an alleged bribery in the granting of the municipal swimming pool in Puerto de la Torre.
In his statement to the judge hearing this case, the mayor’s Party has rejected the accusations, according to Europa Press reported sources close to the case.
So, has denied having used for more than a year off-road businessman who won the award pool in Puerto de la Torre was without a name. It has therefore provided the contract of sale , transfer and the loan requested.
Regarding the request for a building permit to carry out reform at home for a lower value to the final cost of the work, Diaz has shown the budget bill and the contract.
After being splashed by these controversies, Diaz opted not to go on the PP list for municipal elections that led Francisco de la Torre, so that, as explained at the time, could not be used “as a weapon” against his party.
However, it has the backing of De la Torre, who after winning the municipal elections, increasing its majority, has shown its willingness to have him in the new municipal office as elected delegate.
